Client Testimonials
Murrumbeena Project
Once we met Glenn, we just knew that he was the one that would be able to deliver what we were expecting, which was this beautiful home that we've now residing in.
Well, the communication was great because once a week, you got a client report which gave you what they talk about at their toolbox meetings. Things that have happened, any incidents, things that were happening in the next week as trades would be on site. And we all got a copy of the-you call them a critical path analysis which is just a chart so we could see what was happening the next week and what didn't happen last week. You could sort of keep an eye that way and ask few questions if we had to. But you just look at the chart, you could find out or we could plan our week around that as well.
And with this trades, Trades were good. Communication was excellent. Couldn't ask for better. And if there was a hiccup or there was something that Glenn could see or was highlighted, it was back to us to see whether or not we were agreeable with that decision or we needed to change. And it was great to be involved.
We were the talk of the street. Very impressed with how the build went. How everything flowed, and there was a succession of trade after trade after trade. There wasn't any lagging and that the site was nice and clean. And, they were very very impressed. Kept saying, "You got a good builder". Invariably, you'll get those that feel that they need to know whether or not you're running on time and within budget. And truthfully, I just said, "Yes, we're on time and on budget". And sort of would kill the conversation because I'm sure they wanted to hear a little bit more nitty-gritty, but no, because it was honest. It was an honest answer.
I think it was his presentation at the very start. It listed everything that was required 'cuz he told us at the time about to do the quote, it would take, I think it was about 8 weeks to do the quote. And it was about 8 or 9 weeks. It was no problem. The quote came through. We looked at it and we could see every detail that he had put in as to the PC items and the PS items as well. So we knew exactly what we were in for.
But it was the initial meeting, I just knew there was that report. Glenn didn't hide anything at all. It was all upfront.
We had two other quotes and one arrived far too quick and it was far too cheap. And we just figured, this chap's gonna get bust. Nothing was highlighted. And the second quote was just straight out of our book. "Here's your quote. Yes or No?" No presentation required. But Glenn just went out of his way to do the quote and the presentation and I was about 3 or 4 hours he was here doing it. So, we just knew that it was the... We didn't tell at the time but we knew that was the one.
I suppose if anyone's on the market to get a home built, K2 Homes is probably the one to go for because it's just everything's laid out. You know exactly what you're up for and what's going to happen in the future. And, what time your house is going to be finished or pretty close to that time.
It's communication. Yeah, communication and no mocking around. Total value for money, yeah. You pay for what you get. And we think we are sure that we've got value for money. it is a beautiful home.
And the attention to detail. Very much attention to detail.
Canterbury Project
Glenn is a perfectionist which we appreciate, and he wanted things done properly to make sure it was not just beautiful, but substantial and won't give us any problems in the future.
We were confident in Glenn from the beginning. We liked his manner, he was a very good communicator, and we trusted he was an honest person.
Glenn paid a lot more attention to detail than we expected of a builder, which was very comforting.
We received positive feedback from neighbors that their experience with Glenn and his tradespeople was very positive; they were well-mannered and considerate.
Glenn was never fazed and always solution-oriented, always having a practical way of overcoming problems.
Glenn made what is inherently a fairly challenging experience as smooth as possible.
We would certainly recommend K2 HOMES to anyone.
Sandringham Project
You see some renovations and they're a bit fast and furious but I don't feel like anything was done like that in our house. It feels like real care was taken.
It's amazing, I can't believe how good it is and how well it's achieved the brief we set out.
It exceeded my expectations in just about every way. From the communication to the end result, I'm really really happy.
It was actually WOW! The attention to detail was beautiful.
It felt like Glenn and Teresa really wanted it to be brilliant.
Everybody wanted the best outcome possible.
Brighton Project
The flexibility worked for me.
I met with four builders, and of all the builders that I met with, Glenn was the only one that actually came with some paperwork and a series of questions.
What struck me was he asked me ‘what was more important? Quality or budget?’, and I looked at it and thought, well actually both are important, but I also said fundamentally quality was really important.
I like that he came to our meeting prepared.
It was a pleasant surprise, not so much about the amount. But what I appreciated was the detail. And I then felt that I was dealing with a person who would do his due diligence, and if was going to do his due diligence with the quote, he was going to do his due diligence with the project.
Yes I would recommend Glenn, and yes I would use him again if I was doing another project.
BRIGhTON Project
We just feel so much happier coming into the house, it’s just made such a difference to the way we live in the house.
We could see he was very well organised and that takes away a lot of the stress.
The workers, he (Glenn) used were very pleasant, there was no problem with any of them, I felt safe.
If things needed to be done which weren’t in the original plan, Glenn always came to us and I knew what the cost was going to be before we gave the ok, that meant the end cost wasn’t a surprise.
When there were problems, Glenn came and talked to us and we managed to resolve them before it became an issue timeline wise so it didn’t cause a problem at the end.
SOUTH YARRA Project
He really listened to our preferences, our requirements, what we wanted the job to look like at the end.
There was regular contact with us, excellent communication by phone, by SMS, by E-mail, they were a fantastic go between.
They gave us regular budget updates and we were given constant communication about the progress of the work.
What made us choose GJ HOMES / K2 HOMES was the communication, they were punctual, very pleasant, very professional, had the experience, we just had a really nice feeling dealing with them.
I will be recommending them to family and friends.
