Brighton project
This small, compact renovation in Brighton was completed back in 2020 and ended up being a fun and interesting build for our team. The original 'Victorian' style home was built back in 1864 and had previously had some minor work done. This latest renovation focused on the rear living area and kitchen area where we introduced a lot more light and openness in what was once a dark and tight space. We also redesigned the main bathroom and turned a storage space into a master ensuite. The entire rear floor was also completely rebuilt as it was found that the existing floor structure was in fact sitting in the dirt. Over the top of the new floor we laid a lovely new engineered floor.
The scope, design and finishes had to fit in with the clients budget. The end result was a clean, modern renovation with simple design, functionality and finishes, all while being able to tick the clients boxes.
